“I am…the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:8

Jesus Always Has Time For You

In spite of our best intentions, we often find ourselves too busy to do what we’d like to for people. We may be bound by time, but Jesus, the one who created time, is not. He always has time for each one of us!

Even in His earthly ministry, in His limited form as Man, He always had time to minister to people. Consider a typical day in His ministry: When a severely demon-possessed man cried out from the tombs of a distant region, He had time to sail all the way from Galilee to the country of the Gadarenes to save that lonely, tormented man. On the way there, He had time to respond to the cries of His disciples when a fierce storm arose. He awoke from a much-deserved sleep and calmed the storm for them.

After He saved the demonized man and returned to Galilee, another man, Jairus, came to him for help. Jairus’ 12-year-old daughter was dying and he begged Jesus to come to his house to heal her. Jesus agreed—He had time. But on His way there, a woman with a 12-year bleeding condition touched the hem of His garment and received her healing. Though Jairus’ daughter was in the throes of death, Jesus had time to find out who had touched Him, just so that He could minister to the woman.

While Jesus was ministering to her, He received a death report concerning Jairus’ daughter. Now, in the natural, Jesus was “too late.” Yet, He did not consider it a waste of time to encourage Jairus, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well” (Luke 8:49–50). He wasn’t troubled or harried. He still took time to go to Jairus’ house and raised the little girl from the dead.

My friend, this same loving Jesus always has time for you. He hears your cries, cares about the little and big things that bother you, and will come and save you. Even when He’s “busy,” He has time to stop and minister to you. And even when it seems “too late,” He will still see to it that you get your miracle!

Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them…

Matthew 19:13–14

            No Queues At His Throne

In this hectic, everybody-for-himself world that we live in, your friends and colleagues may not have time for you. Sometimes, even your loved ones may not have time for you. But don’t despair—Jesus always has time for you! Whether you come to Him at noon, in the night or in the wee hours of the morning, He has time for you!

“But Pastor Prince, there are millions of believers on this planet vying for His time!”
My friend, God being God lives outside of time. Whenever you come to His throne of grace, it’s as if you are the only child there—you have His undivided attention, love and care! You’ll never find a crowd there and Jesus telling you, “Take a queue number and wait for your turn.”

So what is troubling you today? Do you have a pressing need to bring to Him or do you just want to pour your heart out to Him? Whatever your need is, just go to Him right now like a little child. He has all the time to listen to you, provide for every one of your needs and love you into wholeness

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

2 Corinthians 1:20

            Arise And Shine!

Beloved, because of Jesus’ perfect finished work at the cross, all of God’s promises of provision, protection and good success are yes and Amen! Meditate on this unchanging truth. Say these words out loud:

I declare that I am special in Jesus’ eyes, and He loves me unconditionally. I have an awesome destiny. Jesus has equipped me with gifts, talents and abilities. Today, I receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness to reign in life. I give thanks that His favor surrounds me like a shield and opens doors of opportunities for me. Because of Jesus, I shall be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, the lender and not the borrower. I shall not suffer lack but be surrounded by His abundance, His wisdom, His peace and His protection.

Thank You, Jesus, for Your finished work at the cross for me. I receive a fresh revelation of Your love right now and thank You that everything my hands touch shall be blessed! I believe with all my heart that I am greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved! Amen!

And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

John 6:11

See The Supply And Give Thanks!

When Jesus was given just five loaves and two fish to feed more than 5,000 people, He didn’t see the impossible demand placed on Him. He didn’t say, “Are you kidding Me? What do you expect Me to do with so little?”

No, He looked up and saw His Father’s infinite supply of grace. He was most grateful, not one bit despising. He smiled and GAVE THANKS for the little that was in His hands. And the Father made sure that the little multiplied and multiplied to feed the hungry multitudes till they were stuffed!

My friend, has an impossible demand been placed on you today? Perhaps your boss expects you to bring in hefty profits when you’re a rookie with only a few clients. Maybe your child wants you to spend more time with him when you’ve hardly got free time for yourself because you’re holding down two jobs!

It’s natural to focus on the little time, experience or resources that you have and throw your hands up in despair. But let me encourage you today to look to the Lord. See His infinite supply of grace streaming toward you—every megabit paid for by His blood. It’s when you choose to see His boundless supply that you’ll be able to THANK HIM for the little that you have, because you know that He’s going to multiply it many times over!

With God’s favor, those few clients will sign big deals with you. They’ll recommend you to their friends because they favor and trust you! The short moments that you spend with your child will be quality time spent together that imprints precious memories in his mind for years to come!
Beloved, a little goes farther than you can ever imagine when you see God’s abundant supply of grace and have a heart full of thanksgiving!

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 6:14

            Put It Under God’s Grace

Because of the cross of Jesus Christ, God is free to righteously bless all who simply believe in Him. The cross frees God to be gracious toward us even when we are undeserving, because Jesus bore the punishment for our sins. The more you believe this and meditate on this truth, the more you put yourself under the grace of God.

What happens when you are under God’s grace? The Bible tells us that sin and all its effects will not have dominion in your life when you are under God’s grace.

Suppose your doctor has told you that you have a weak heart. Go to God and say, “Father, I bring my heart to You and I put it under Your grace.” Something happens when you do that. The health of your heart no longer depends on what the specialists have said, or how severe the symptoms are. It doesn’t depend on your ability to do this or that. It now depends on God’s unmerited, unearned favor!

Beloved, bring each area of your life under God’s grace. One by one, bring them all under the spout of His unmerited favor. The enemy may still give you negative thoughts that cause you to worry about a specific area. If he does that, just remind yourself that that area is under God’s abundant grace!

Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

Psalm 34:3

            Magnify The Lord

When we give thanks to the Lord—when we praise and worship Him—we are magnifying Him (Psalm 34:3). Why is this important?

It’s because often, when we are beset by challenges, we tend to dwell on them so much until they grow into huge, hairy monsters in our minds! We give them so much weight that we forget that the Lord is far bigger than all the problems in the universe put together.

That’s why we need to magnify the Lord (make Him big in our consciousness) instead. As we give weight to His presence and His love for us, our mountains become small. As we give weight to His power to dissolve problems and obstacles in our lives, what those problems and obstacles can do to us become insignificant in the light of what the Lord can and will do for us!

So beloved, if you have a sickness, magnify the Lord your healer. If you are suffering financial lack, magnify the Lord your provider. Whatever fears you have of your mountains will dissolve in His presence, and you’ll find His divine wisdom, strength and grace to overcome them supernaturally!

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?...Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Romans 8:35, 37

More Than Conquerors Through Jesus’ Love

Jesus said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20). I find this statement so beautiful. Let me tell you why.

In the original Greek text, the word for “lay” is a very unique word, klino. The only other place it is used in terms of Jesus resting His head is at the cross. When Jesus hung on the cross and cried, “It is finished!” the Bible says, “And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit” (John 19:30). The word “bowing” here is the same Greek word, klino.

Beloved, it was only at the cross that the Son of Man finally found a place to rest His head. Jesus found His rest in redeeming us, in loving us. We, in turn, find rest in feeding on His sacrificial love for us. Whatever the challenge or need you are facing today, He has made you more than a conqueror through His love, so meditate on His love for you today!

As He also says in another place: “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

Hebrews 5:6

            A Priesthood Of Blessings

God said this about Jesus after He rose from the dead: “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Notice that the priesthood of Jesus isn’t according to the order of Aaron, but Melchizedek. The old Aaronic priesthood of Israel was under the law. And because it was under the law, it meant that you got blessed only when you obeyed God’s laws. If you disobeyed God’s laws, then curses would come upon you.

In contrast, the Melchizedek priesthood of Jesus doesn’t dispense both blessings and curses. It only dispenses blessings. When Melchizedek first appeared to Abraham in the book of Genesis, only blessings proceeded from his mouth: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand” (Genesis 14:19–20). There were no curses.

My friend, because of Jesus’ finished work, you’re no longer under the old priesthood where curses were part of the deal. Today, you’re under the new and “forever” priesthood of your High Priest, Jesus. I encourage you to meditate on how, under this priesthood, there are only blessings and success promises—no curses—for you, forever! Jesus has perfectly made you righteous, and blessings only crown the head of the righteous (Proverbs 10:6)!

…the Lord will bless His people with peace [shalom].

Psalm 29:11

            Jesus’ Shalom Is Yours!

The Hebrew word shalom, which is usually translated as “peace” in the Old Testament, is a very rich word. It doesn’t just mean “peace of mind.” It also means health, good success, safety and one’s total wellness.

Now, do you know that the root word of shalom is shalam? Shalam means to make good, to pay or to recompense. So my friend, the reason you can walk in God’s shalom today is that Jesus through the cross has paid for it to be yours. Health, provision, safety and a mind that is sharp and sound are yours for the taking because Jesus has purchased shalom for you with His blood!

Beloved, I encourage you to meditate on this. Thank God for His perfect sacrifice of His Son and say, “Father, I receive the shalom that Jesus died to give me—peace of mind, wholeness, prosperity and health in every cell, every organ, every function of my body, and for every area of my life!” Amen! Now expect to walk in it today!

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

John 6:63

Commune With Jesus Through His Word

Every day, when you open your Bible, ask Jesus to speak to you through His Spirit in you. Don’t read the Bible just to accumulate knowledge. Don’t just go through the motion so that you feel you’ve done your quiet time. Open the Bible and really have communion with Jesus.

Jesus said, “…The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” So feed on and nourish yourself with His words of life. When you go to the Word really wanting to have communion with Him, He will speak to you. And when you close the Bible, you will, as the prophet says in Isaiah 55, go out with joy and be led forth in peace. Everywhere you go, instead of thorn bushes and briers, evergreen and fruitful cypress and myrtle trees will grow (Isaiah 55:12–13). In other words, areas of barrenness and evidences of the curse will give way to fruitfulness and blessings!

Beloved, open your Bible today and ask the Lord for His life-giving words. Tell Him, “Jesus, I want to commune with You. Quicken me according to Your words.” He will surely commune with you, minister words of life to you and lead you to good success!

…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…

Mark 10:45

            Draw on God

God wants to do wonders and perform miracles in your life. He loves doing good to His people. He loves to use His power to love His people. That’s why He wants you to draw on and “use” His goodness. Faith is nothing more than—and I say this reverently—seeing and using God’s goodness. He loves to be utilized because He “did not come to be served, but to serve.”

Just look at how Jesus ministered to people. When the woman with the issue of blood used His power, it pleased Him. He didn’t want to leave until He got to speak with this woman who had touched Him (Mark 5:25–34). When He was weary and tired at Jacob’s well, a Samaritan woman came to draw water and ended up drawing from Him—at His invitation. He was even strengthened and rejuvenated as He ministered to her and gave her the water of life (John 4:5–34).

Beloved, God’s love waits on you to be used. God wants to be your bread of life. He wants to be your water of life. Bread and water are of no benefit to you if you don’t consume them. So feed on Him. Drink Him up. Depend on Him for everything you need in life. He loves it when you look to Him and allow Him to work wonders in your life!

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

1 Corinthians 11:26

            Take Communion Often

The Holy Communion is a time for us to remember our Lord Jesus and what He has accomplished for us in His sacrifice (1 Corinthians 11:24–25). He bore those stripes so that we can be healed. On the cross, He took not just our sins, but also our sicknesses and pains (Isaiah 53:4–5, YLT). His blood was shed so that we could be forgiven of every sin (Matthew 26:28).

God wants us to remember what Jesus did “often.” His Word says, “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.” Believers in the early church also had the habit of partaking of the Communion together, “breaking bread from house to house” (Acts 2:46).

So take the Communion often. If you have a sickness that is serious or long-term, I encourage you to take the Communion daily. It gives you a chance to proclaim the Lord’s death and remember His finished work every day. In fact, I know of people who are so radical that they take the Communion three times a day. And you know what? They get radical results!

Beloved, don’t give up now. Keep partaking in faith. You are getting stronger and healthier each time you partake!

…God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Acts 10:38

            God’s Nature Is To Heal

Of all the miracles that Jesus performed, 35 of them were recorded for our benefit in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Now, out of these 35 miracles, 26 are miracles of healing, including casting out demons and raising the dead. In other words, the majority of Jesus’ miracles have to do with healing and setting free those oppressed by the devil. Jesus is the Father’s will in action and His compassionate heart would not permit any who came to Him for healing to remain sick and bound in their physical bodies.

My friend, can you see that it is God’s nature to heal? He wants you healthy and strong—spirit, soul and body. That’s why His Word says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2). So don’t let the enemy or anyone tell you otherwise. Keep reading all the faith-boosting healing miracles of Jesus. Meditate on His compassion toward the sick and His willingness to heal them.

…[because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord…

2 Corinthians 3:18, AMP

            Behold Jesus And Be Transformed

Up in the branches of the sycamore tree, Zacchaeus had a good look at Jesus. “So this is the One everyone has been talking about,” he said to himself. And right on cue, Jesus looked up and saw the tax collector. “Zacchaeus,” Jesus called out, “make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house” (Luke 19:5).

Jesus extended grace to Zacchaeus, a man considered a cheat and a sinner by the crowd. And Zacchaeus’ response to the Lord’s goodness was, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold” (Luke 19:8). Zacchaeus was transformed from a cheat to a generous man by beholding and spending time with a gracious God!

My friend, when you with all your shortcomings come to Jesus to spend time with Him, you won’t find Him saying, “You lousy sinner!” No, He will call you by name and say, “Come, let’s go over to your place. I want to hang out with you.” And the more you behold Him and spend time with Him, the more you become transformed from glory to glory.

So come to Jesus and ask Him to show you His grace every day. Talk to Him like you would a friend. When you open your Bible, for example, say, “Lord, speak to me. Let me have this personal encounter with You.” When you behold Him through the Word, there is no way you are not gloriously transformed!

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Philippians 4:8

            What’s On Your Mind?

It takes a positive thought to replace a negative one. You cannot eradicate negative thoughts just by using your willpower. God’s Word tells us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6–7).

If you read on, it also says, “…whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

So beloved, replace your thoughts of worry with thoughts of His pure, immeasurable and unconditional love for you. Turn your cares into prayers by casting all your cares to Him as you meditate on how He truly cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Don’t hold on to your worries any longer. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Work Without The Curse Of Stress

God gave Adam a job before he fell into sin. Adam was to tend the garden of Eden. So man was meant to work. Work was part of his blessed state. But because of Adam’s sin, the curse came. God told Adam, “Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life…In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread…” (Genesis 3:17–19). Work for man thus became stressful. He had to toil and sweat to eat of the land.

My friend, are you toiling and stressed out at work today? Are you working long hours but not getting the desired results? The good news is that Jesus has redeemed you from the curse of stress. When did that happen? Well, it happened when the Lord was in another garden—the garden of Gethsemane.

The Bible tells us that “being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground” (Luke 22:44). The blood of Jesus touched the ground that was cursed. We know that His blood has a redeeming quality, so He redeemed us from the curse of stress!

Beloved, you have a blood-bought right to a work life that isn’t stressful, but full of God’s favor and blessings. So start confessing God’s favor over yourself and your work. Ask Him for favor with your bosses, colleagues and clients. Ask Him for wisdom to do your work well. Believe and see Him put you at the right place at the right time and cause you to prosper!

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Isaiah 26:3

            Busy Outwardly, Peaceful Inwardly

The world can give you a certain amount of peace. You can go to a spa and get a comforting massage as soft music plays in the background. You can look at a beautiful sunset and sense a measure of peace as the sun dips beyond the horizon, spreading its golden rays on the sea and coloring the darkening sky with various hues of orange.

But alas, the music stops and the sun sets! Peace from these sources is fragile, temporary and dependent on the environment. But Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you…” (John 14:27). The peace that Jesus gives is different—it’s robust, it’s lasting and it doesn’t depend on your environment. You can be busy handling a crisis and still be at peace inwardly!

Beloved, meditate on scriptures on peace throughout the day, scriptures such as John 14:27, or John 16:33—“…in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” As you keep your mind stayed on the grace and faithfulness of our Lord Jesus, negative thoughts cannot remain and lock you in a state of worry and defeat.

Keep your mind stayed on Him, and the Prince of Peace Himself will cause you to walk in an inward peace that is independent of your environment and that surpasses all understanding!

Live in the now. Don’t live in the future by asking, “What if…” and don’t live in the past by saying, “If only…” Don’t waste your present moments. If you’re spending time with a loved one, enjoy the moment. Don’t worry about that project deadline.

“Pastor Prince, if I don’t worry, then I’m not being responsible.”

Well, let’s look at your idea of “responsibility.” If you’re worried now about next week’s responsibility as you spend time with your loved one, your loved one will not get the best of you because you are there physically but mentally, you are miles away!

Secondly, when next week comes, your worrying won’t put you in a good state of mind to handle that responsibility well.

Beloved, to believe that by worrying you are being responsible is to believe a lie from the enemy! Jesus wants you worry free, anxiety free and carefree—every day (Matthew 6:25–34, Philippians 4:6–7, 1 Peter 5:7)! Why? Because He is there to supply you with whatever you need. Do what you need to do, but refuse to worry and live each day like a child. Live in the now, enjoying every precious moment you’ve been given because you have a faithful heavenly Father who will take good care of you!

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

            Fight From Victory

Are you fighting for victory, or are you fighting from victory?

The moment you fight for victory, you are in unbelief and you are defeated even before the battle begins. You see, when you try to get what God has already given you in Christ, you are effectively saying that you don’t have it. So you can, for instance, take the Holy Communion trying to be healed, or you can take it proclaiming the Lord’s death and the healing that you already have through His finished work.

“But, Pastor Prince, how can I say that I’m healed when my body is in pain?”

My friend, God is a God who “calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17). God looked at Abraham and said, “I have made you a father of many nations,” when Abraham didn’t even have a single child from Sarah! The Lord loves to act like the work is finished because it is (John 19:30). And He loves it when we, who have been made in His image, believe and act according to His finished work.

When you see how you’re already standing on victory ground on the basis of Jesus’ finished work, you’ll stop worrying about how and when your healing will manifest. Settle it in your heart and mind that you already have the victory through Christ. And God’s rest and peace will rule in your heart, and you will receive your breakthrough!
