Meditate On

            Look Up For Your Supply 

 

When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, they relied on the River Nile, a natural resource, for their supply of water. They depended on their own hands to carry the water from the Nile and did not have to look to God for His supply. This is a picture of human self-effort.

On the other hand, in the promised land of Canaan that God had prepared for His beloved people, there was no River Nile to depend on. So they had to look up and depend solely on the Lord for the blessing of rain to fall upon their land.

Beloved, even as you labor diligently in your career today, what is your trust in? Is it in your self-efforts to provide for yourself, or is your dependence on the Lord to bless, increase and promote you? It’s time to look up, especially in times of economic turmoil when the “Niles” of the world are drying up. Look up to Jesus for your supply!

You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty…

Genesis 45:10–11

            Draw Near To Jesus

In the Old Testament story of Joseph, after Joseph reveals his identity to his brothers, he tells them to return to their father, and to tell their father to come quickly to him. Joseph had prepared for his family to dwell in the land of Goshen, where they, with all their children and all they possessed, would be near to him.

The name “Goshen” means “drawing near.” My friend, the Lord wants you to be in “Goshen,” which is a place of nearness to Him. His heart of love is not satisfied with just removing your sins. No, He wants more. He wants you in His presence. He wants you in the place where He can lavish the bountiful love in His heart on you!

When you draw near to Jesus, look what happens. Joseph tells his brothers to also tell their father, “There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.”

 Beloved, when you draw near to your heavenly Joseph, He will provide for you and your little ones. In the midst of financial famine in the world, in the midst of rising fuel and food costs, do not despair. Draw near to Jesus, for there in “Goshen,” in that place of nearness, He will provide for you and your household!

But the righteousness of faith speaks…

Romans 10:6

            Speak Out Your Righteousness    

  

Let me share something powerful with you about righteousness. In Romans 10:6, God’s Word tells us that the “righteousness of faith speaks”.

Now, what does this mean? It means that God encourages us to not just believe in our hearts that we are righteous, but to also SPEAK it out!

So righteous one, declare your righteousness. Every day, boldly say, “Father, I thank You that I am righteous in Christ, not because of what I have done, but because of what Christ has done. It’s a gift and I receive it with all my heart.”

I believe that when you speak and declare your righteousness, good things happen. You become conscious of all the blessings and all the promises that are due the righteous. Instead of disqualifying yourself, you’ll start to believe God for good success, favor and wisdom. 

Experiencing provision becomes effortless because you know your right standing in Christ. So stop disqualifying yourself and confess your righteousness instead!

            Freedom From Destructive Habits 

I’ve received so many testimonies from people who have been set free from destructive habits. These are sincere and precious people who desired to experience breakthroughs but did not know how to. However, once they learned about righteousness that comes from Christ apart from their works, they began to confess that they were still the righteousness of God every time they felt tempted. And bit by bit, the more they started to believe that they were righteous in Christ, and the more they refused to accept the condemnation for their past mistakes and for their present temptation, the more they became set free from the very addictions that bound them!

Beloved, God does not want you to sin because sin will destroy you. But even if you have failed, you must know this: There is no condemnation because you are IN CHRIST JESUS and your sins are washed away by His blood! When God looks at you, He does not see you in your failures. From the moment you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, God sees you in the risen Christ, seated at His right hand! As Jesus is spotless and without blame, so are you! God sent His Son to die on the cross for you while you were still a sinner. Obviously, He does not love you only when you are perfect in your behavior and thoughts.

 Receive afresh His unconditional love and His gift of righteousness today and break free from every sin and addiction in your life!

            A Robust Revelation Of Your Righteousness    

   

I really want you to reign in all areas of life by receiving a robust revelation of your righteousness in Christ. You grow in this revelation the more you hear about what Jesus has accomplished for you at the cross.

The Bible tells us that blessings crown the head of the righteous. So the larger the revelation of your righteousness in Christ and the more you are established in it, the more you will see God’s blessings manifest in your life.

Let me put it another way: See the robe of righteousness that God has already clothed you with having pockets labeled “favor”, “healing”, “deliverance”, “provision”, “wisdom”, “family blessings” and so on. The more conscious you are of this robe on you, the more you will experience the good gifts that come with it and live a purposeful and fulfilling life—a life where you have more than enough to bless others as well!

You’ve probably heard of the term “R&R”. It’s commonly used in the military and it means “rest and relaxation” after some exhausting overseas training or mission. Doctors also order “rest and rehabilitation” for the injured and sick.

My friend, God has an R&R for you too. It’s called “the rest and the refreshing”, and it comes through praying in the Holy Spirit or tongues.

One of the best ways to rest and be refreshed, especially when you are worried, fatigued or just waiting for the manifestation of your healing, is to pray in the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, give yourself some time every day to pray in the Spirit, and allow Him to rejuvenate and refresh you supernaturally!

            Jesus Gives You Rest

           

You don’t need to be a Bible scholar or theologian to understand rest. You just need to be someone who knows Jesus, because it is Jesus who gives you rest!

My friend, perhaps you’re dealing with a challenging physical condition in your body today. And if you are weary, confused and tired because of all your efforts to get healed, just go to Him right now and tell Him, “Jesus, I’m so tired and confused. I’m scared too. Please hold me in Your arms and give me rest.”

You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to. You can just cry in His presence. Beloved, He already knows all that you are going through. And the One who bottles your tears will surely rest you and give you peace. He will lift you up and strengthen you until you are full of His shalom-peace—inside and out!

            Be Worry Free And Enjoy Divine Health 

I never knew how much love and attention I could give to a little baby until I had Jessica. When my daughter was born, I loved her so much that I became overly concerned about her.

Every time she fell sick, I would worry. The more concerned I was about her health, the more she fell sick. When she recovered from a viral attack, a few weeks later, she would have another viral attack. If it was not a viral attack, it would be some other physical ailment. And the more her health was attacked, the more worried I got.

Then, God began to speak to me. He said, “Your very worry over your daughter is stopping the supply of My health and healing to her. Cast your daughter into My hands and be carefree, then health and healing will flow!” I did what God told me to do and Jessica began to fall sick less often and became increasingly more robust in her health.

I experienced the same thing with regards to my own health. There was a period in my life when I went to the doctors often. The devil had given me some lying symptoms in my stomach and the more concerned I was over the symptoms, the worse they seemed to get. This went on until tests revealed that there was nothing wrong with my stomach or bowels. It was then that I realized that I had been playing the devil’s game!

Today, you can turn the tables on the enemy. Whenever you feel pain, say, “Jesus, You bore all my pain and sickness on Your own body. I’ve been healed by the stripes You bore for me. Hallelujah!”

 Beloved, the more you meditate on and speak the truth about how healing and health are already yours because of Jesus’ finished work, the more you’ll allow God’s divine healing, health and wholeness to flow in your body!

            Practice Jesus’ Presence In Your Career  

With the Lord’s presence and His unmerited favor covering you, there is no way you will not be a success in your career. When I started working in my early twenties, I kept on practicing the presence of Jesus and in a short time became the top salesperson in my company. I started as one of the lowest-paid employees in the company, but the Lord consistently promoted me, and gave me different income streams from within the same company until I became one of the highest-paid employees in that organization.

Please understand that I am not sharing this with you to put a feather in my cap. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that all the successes that I had experienced in my professional career are a result of Jesus’ presence and unmerited favor in my life. I also shared with you about my professional career (before I entered full-time ministry) so that you will not walk away thinking that I have personally experienced good success from the Lord only because I am a pastor.

Beloved, whatever the vocation you are in, practice the presence of Jesus and depend on His unmerited favor. He will promote you and make you a success!

            Tread Where Jesus Treads 

Regardless of what experts say about the current economic situation, I have good news for you. As a child of God, your blessings this year are not dependent on the ebb and flow of the stock market. You can expect good things to happen to you this year because God’s Word declares it: “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance”!

“Pastor Prince, God’s Word says it, but how do I see it?”

Great question! The key to experiencing the blessings lies in Psalm 65:11 itself—“Your paths drip with abundance”. In order to see His paths dripping with abundance, you would need to follow Him, wouldn’t you? So to experience the Lord’s goodness and abundance this year, keep listening to and beholding His grace and finished work. It’s easy to follow His leading when you are tuned to and meditating on His grace. And when you tread where He treads, you will run right into the blessings that He has already prepared for you!

            Come As You Are To Jesus

Years ago, someone I knew suddenly stopped coming to church for a long time. I eventually met up with him to find out how he was doing and to see if everything was all right. He was very honest with me and told me that he was going through a lot of problems in his marriage, and that he was now addicted to alcohol. Then, he said this: “Let me get my life right, then I will come back to church.”

I smiled and asked him, “Do you clean yourself before you take a bath?” I could tell from his expression that he was taken aback by my question, so I told him, “Come as you are to the Lord. He is the bath. He will cleanse you. He will get your life in order for you, and He will cause every addiction to lose its hold on you. You don’t have to use your own efforts to clean yourself before you take a bath!”

I am glad to share that this precious brother soon returned to church and Jesus turned his life around. Today, he is happily married, blessed with a beautiful family and is one of my trusted, key leaders.

Beloved, that is what the Lord does when you come to Him just as you are, and allow Him to love you into wholeness. So don’t wait for things to be “perfect” in your life first. Just come to Him today. Let Him make all things beautiful in your life!

            Unconditional Love That Heals 

     

It didn’t matter who they were or what kinds of past these people had. As long as they sought Him for healing, Jesus healed them gladly and graciously. He never asked them what they had done or not done, or if they had repented. He never asked them to sign a pledge to follow Him and never told anyone that He would not heal them because they deserved to be sick.

Surely, none of them were perfect in their thought life or behavior. Surely, there were some who came to Him without strong faith. Yet, all this didn’t matter to Jesus. All that mattered to Him was that they had been suffering and needed to be set free.

Beloved, see this compassionate Savior when you come to Him for healing. He puts no demands and no conditions on you. He simply wants to heal you and set you free!

            The Vast Ocean Of His Abundant Supply

Something happens when you receive the abundance of God’s grace, lean wholly upon it and stop depending on your own efforts to see the results you want. The moment you surrender and say, “Lord, I cannot, but You can. Today, I rest in Your unmerited favor,” whatever demand that is upon you disappears into the vast ocean of His abundant supply.

Many a time, as I’m driving to church on Sunday morning, I feel the demand to preach a good message. The demand is real—more than 30,000 people in my congregation show up expecting to be well fed! That’s when I turn to Jesus and receive His abundance of grace. I say to Him, “Lord, today, You are my guest speaker! I rest in You. You speak. You feed them. You provide! You take over and I will watch You in action!” The moment I let go, His grace and His supply rush in!

Beloved, the more you keep receiving and meditating on the abundance of His grace toward you, the more you’ll walk in His abundant supply!

            Grace That Supplies

The Lord told me once, “Being under grace means being constantly under My supply. It means being conscious not of the need, demand or crisis, but of My supply to you.”

My friend, the essence of grace is supply. See yourself under His grace by seeing yourself under the waterfall of His supply. Do you need healing for your body today?

See the afflicted area surrounded by Jesus’ healing power and resurrection life! Do you need wisdom, favor or a specific provision? See His supply of all that you need flowing into every area of lack right now.

Beloved, because of the cross of Jesus, God’s grace is always supplying healing, protection, wisdom and provision to you. And the more you are conscious of it, the more you will walk in it!

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:27

            Don’t Trouble Your Heart  

You have probably read health articles that say that the cause of many medical conditions today is stress. Stress can produce all kinds of imbalances in your body. It can cause you to age prematurely, give you rashes, cause gastric pains and even hinder fertility. To put it succinctly, stress kills!

Beloved, stress is not from God. Peace is! Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”. Notice Jesus’ second statement. He says that if you want to walk in His peace, then don’t allow your heart to be troubled or afraid.

Now, you do this by not feeding on negative reports that trouble or put fear in your heart. If your doctor has given you a negative report, don’t keep thinking about it. Meditate on the fact that by Jesus’ stripes you are healed. If the news on television is making you worried about the economy and your job security, don’t keep watching it. Meditate on the fact the God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Beloved, let not your heart be troubled. Rather, let it be strengthened and established in the love and wonderful promises of God for you!

            Experience Jesus’ Robust Peace   

  

Peace is not the absence of trouble in your life. It is possible to be in the midst of the biggest crisis in your life and still experience peace. That’s the true kind of peace that Jesus gives—peace that surpasses all understanding. Naturally speaking, it does not make sense for you to feel completely at rest and at peace in the middle of a clearly stressful situation, but supernaturally, you can be filled with His peace!

The world defines peace based on what is happening in the sensory realm. Its notion of peace would look something like this: A man lying in a hammock on a white sandy beach with waves rolling languidly along the shoreline. It calls that peace—until reality kicks in!

Beloved, you cannot use your external surroundings to permanently influence the turmoil that you are feeling inside. Only Jesus can touch what you are feeling inside and turn that turmoil into His peace. It’s not the other way round. 

With Jesus, transformation is always from inside out and not outside in. So when you turn your cares into prayers and seek His presence and favor, He puts a peace and rest in your heart that is robust and secure. You will find yourself able to face any challenge without worry or stress, regardless of your circumstances and environment!

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper…This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.

            Know What’s Legally Yours  

        

Receiving healing from God is not about you begging Him for something that He’s already done. It’s about you knowing what is already legally yours because of the cross. It’s about you believing that the same way you have been righteously forgiven is the same way God has already righteously healed you.

When you have a revelation of this truth, once any symptom starts showing up, you will declare with faith in your heart, “NO SICKNESS in my body will prosper!” Once you are established in the right standing that God has given you through Christ, fears that you may have about not being healed will dissipate like mist under the blazing sun. 

Beloved, you’ll see every hope you have as the righteous manifest in your body and in every area of your life!

…Jesus said to him [Peter], “…lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

Matthew 17:26–27

            Right Place, Right Time    

  

Whatever you need, Jesus knows where you can get it and whom you can get it from. He can position you at the right place at the right time!

When Peter wanted to pay the temple tax, Jesus told him to get it from the first fish that he would catch at the sea. Then, when Jesus needed a donkey to ride into Jerusalem, He told two of His disciples which village to get it from. And when He needed a place to eat the Passover with His disciples, He gave two of His disciples specific instructions on who to meet and follow, and what to say to the master of the house, who had already furnished and prepared a large upper room!

Beloved, isn’t it wonderful to know that Jesus knows what you need and has already gone ahead into your future and made provision for your good success? As you put your trust and rest in His heart of love, His peace will lead you to do the right thing at the right time, at the right place!
